Dr. Ashmawy founded, chaired, and managed WestGate Consultants for more than 17 years. His areas of expertise include: global organization development, talent management, leadership coaching, consulting, organizational turn-around, performance management, and competencies assessment. He owns an outstanding track record of success in aligning both corporate and business strategies. He is heavily engaged in running executive seminars, in addition to managing a number of banking economic sessions and business workshops. He has conducted more than 500 workshops, retreats, and executive seminars in the financial sector.
Dr. Ashmawy held senior positions in a number of companies such as GE Capital, and Mobinil "Orange" where he served as the General Manager of Business Development and Government Relations. He worked with the Government of Egypt as Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Investment, Senior Advisor to the Minister of Tourism, and Deputy Minister for the Ministry of Supply and Internal Trade, as well as Chairing the Internal Trade Development Authority of Egypt. He also advised the Government of Egypt and the Egyptian Parliament as a Senior Economist on a number of investments missions.
Dr. Ashmawy worked in many disciplined academic fields, including Associate Professor at the American University in Cairo, the Ahram Canadian University, Maastricht School of Business outreach MBA Programs, and Exeter School of Business. Over and above, he served as a board member for awide array of companies including: EgyptAir, Tourism Development Agency, Egypt's Investment Authority, Southern Egypt Holding Investment Company, Noor Advanced Technologies, and many others.
Ibrahim earned his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering in 1987 from Cairo University, Egypt. As a Chevening Scholarship recipient, he obtained his MBA, and his Ph.D in International Business with a focus on Investment, from the University of Exeter, United Kingdom.
Mona is the Organizational Development Manager at WestGate Consultants, with over 15 years of experience in development. Her specialties include change management, performance management, strategic planning and organization restructuring.
Mona participated strategically and operationally in multiple OD projects, managing different assignments including: strategy making, business plan formation, organizational restructuring, salary surveys, job evaluation, establishing career path schemes, succession planning, design and implementation of performance management systems, and talent management programs. In addition, Mona developed and organized hundreds of workshops and training sessions to be delivered to the biggest international and local banks in Egypt and the Gulf.
Mona holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Language from the Faculty of Alsun, Ain Shams University, and a Diploma in Human Resources Management from the American University in Cairo.
Mona is the Corporate Communication Director at WestGate Consultants with 20 years of extensive communication management experience. Her role is to oversee the company’s public relations, and to develop communication strategies that are intended to create a sustainable positive public image about WestGate Consultants. Her mission extends to brand and reputation management, stakeholders communication, and content management. She also takes full responsibility for partnering with WestGate Consultants alliances and strategic business partners.
Over and above, Mona is responsible for the logistics management of the different WestGate Consultants events and learning sessions whether on corporate premises, or at external venues including hotels and conferences halls.
Mona holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the Faculty of Commerce, Helwan University, and has attended many workshops and seminars in business modules and economic sessions that serve branding and corporate communication.
Rania is the Intellectual Capital Manager at WestGate Consultants, with over 19 years of experience. She is specialized in creating and adding value to organizational performance in addition to developing and implementing new procedures/methods to increase intellectual capital efficiency.
Rania is responsible for developing effective succession planning that includes: identifying business competencies, forming talents, skills and career path solutions. Rania is entitled to tailor talents management programs, customize competencies stocks, and fulfill corporate requirements for development. She also works around the clock to serve emerging needs of corporates and to fulfill their missions.
Rania ensures that WestGate Consultants business partners receive the necessary care and assistance across different project phases. She also works on maintaining programs quality as per partners requirements and expectations.
Rania holds a Bachelor's degree in Business from the Faculty of Commerce, Port Said University.
Omar is a Partner and Intern at WestGate Consultants. Whenever in Egypt or during summer, he assists in the different ongoing assignments.
He has obtained his Bachelor's degree in International Business from Toulouse Business School, and his Master's, in the same field, from Grenoble Ecole de Management, France.
Omar worked in Marketing with IBM and Euromoney Conferences, Consultancy with EY, and Real Estate with Sabbour. In addition, he co-founded an investment club "The Sharpe Fund" with his university peers during his undergraduate studies.
Ali is a Partner and Intern at WestGate Consultants. During summer, he attends different WestGate Consultants workshops and seminars. He also assists in the different meetings and business negotiations.
Ali is currently a Bachelor's of International Business candidate at Grenoble Ecole de Management, France. He has been elected several times as the students representative during his university, and high school studies. Ali worked in the HR department of Credit Agricole, and he served as the VP of the International Club of Cairo Royal (Rotary).
Mohamed Hassan is the administration coordinator at WestGate Consultants. Mohamed is responsible for different administrative and logistics tasks including collections, and handling important and confidential documents with WestGate Consultants business partners. His role is to make sure that the administrative work-flow of WestGate Consultants and its partners, is running efficiently.
Nouby is the General Services Coordinator at WestGate Consultants. He is responsible for the management of WestGate Consultants premises. His role includes managing the office supplies, F&B, and more importantly, welcoming the WestGate Consultants visitors and making sure they feel comfortable.
Pierre is WestGate Consultants' Troubleshooting Manager. He looks over WestGate Consultants portal, and technology infrastructure. Pierre comes with 15 years of work experience in the technology field. His duties include fostering technology across WestGate Consultants missions and tasks. He also tailors business solutions to WestGate assignments.
